Chief (Hon) Ephraim Nwuzi , Honourable Commissioner For Employment Generation /Empowerment

Chief (Hon) Ephraim Nwuzi is the Honourable Commissoner and Chief Executive of the Ministry. He has academic qualifications in education and public administration.  A man of diverse skills and background working experience in youth leadership,  public administration, community development and politics.

He held several positions and belongs to many committees and has made landmark achievements both in politics and community leadership. As one time chairman of  Etche Local Government Council, he recorded outstanding performance in grassroots development, an enviable record that earned him the prestigious indigenous award of Ekwueme 1 of Etche in 2011, conferred by the Etche Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers.

A man of good humour, social finesse, team player, astute arbitrator and charismatic negotiator, Chief (Hon) Ephraim Nwuzi, assumed duty in December 2015 as the 6th Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry, following his appointment by His Excellency, Chief(Barr) Nyesom Wike CON, Executive Governor, Rivers State.
